My brother and I used to sing “Side by Side” as our sibling duet when we would go on a road trip and our family would sing. I taught that song to my son, Theo, when I sang to him during his bath time.
It is the right theme song for our big adventure this summer.
We will be posting to this blog pretty darn regularly as we travel along, singing our song. I can’t think of a better way to keep a record of our journey and to keep in touch with family and friends. So check back often, comment often (so we know you are there), and join us on our travels. We will be heading out of Portland on the 16th of June. The homestead will be well tended during our absence, so no worries there. We return around the end of the first week in August. Until then, stay tuned…
